| This Troy Bilt tiller is 25 years old. My dad bought it in 1987! I changed the oil today (I didn't last year). After four pulls it started right up. |

| Harvested some potatos today. The potato harvest so far has been pretty meager. My plants did very well at first. They grew so tall that they feel over. Then some of the plants went from green to yellowish/brownish. I still have about 5 plants in the ground. They are still green. |

| I planted the taller plants about two weeks before the shorter ones. The shorter plants mature in 62 days which means they should be ready when family comes into town for Bayli's baptism on September 3rd. |

| Our friends, Keith and Michelle Lewis gave us these two 55-gallon barrels. I may build something similar to what Keith did...see below. It is set up to collect rainwater from the roof. His main purpose is to have water for his lawn and garden. I however, would just like to collect water for emergency purposes. Not drinking water, but just for cleaning and washing. |

| This is my second year growing brocolli....it's one of my favorites. |

| I planted corn about 3 weeks ago...very few seeds sprouted. I planted more on Friday (June 19, 2011). According to the label of these seeds, they will be mature in 72 days. That's about the time that we will have family in town for Bayli's baptism and Brigham's blessing...hopefully they will grow delicious ears for everyone to enjoy! |

| My test of Mirale Gro didn't go so well. One of my two original strawberry plants burned...the other is barely hanging on (see below). This is one of two more plants that I put in the ground on Saturday. |
